The Ancientzen is a history and astronomy publisher. We write long-form articles about artifacts, archaeology, ancient texts, and the night sky — what the record shows, what is still argued, and where popular claims run ahead of the evidence.
This website is the library. Sister Facebook Pages and a YouTube channel carry shorter visual pieces from the same publisher. The site is where the sourced version lives.

What you will find here

- Astronomy and archaeoastronomy — the sky as observed, recorded, and measured.
Articles aim to separate three things: what was found, how it was dated or identified, and what later storytelling added. When a claim is contested, we say so.
How the pictures work
Most images on this site and on our social Pages are reconstructions generated with AI. They are not photographs of the object or event unless a caption names a museum, archive, excavation, or photographer.
A reconstruction is a visual aid. It is not evidence. Captions on the site will say when an image is generated.
Editorial line
We are not a daily newsroom and we are not a mystery channel that treats every gap in the record as a hidden conspiracy. Curiosity is allowed. Invention dressed up as fact is not.
If an article is wrong, write to the email above with the URL, the error, and a source. We correct the page when the correction is substantiated.
